What's a Vox Channel?
Vox Channels are how you receive voice messages and other audio from your customers via the web, directly into your telbee voice inbox. Plugin Channels allow your visitors to record voice notes for you from your website pages - no downloads or sign ups required. You customers click on a button, record their message and get on with their day. Vox Pages are standalone web pages (hosted by us) that you can link to from anywhere. You can include the URL in newsletters, onboarding emails, on your social media pages, in your email signature, or even on product packaging via our handy QR codes. Everything about your Vox Channels can be customised to suit your brand colours, messaging and use case.
What are Vox minutes?
Vox Minutes are used to receive voice notes (voxes) via your inbound Vox Channels, and to send replies back as voice notes from your inbox. Minutes for the voice messages you send and receive are counted rounding up to the nearest second. You can see your balance at any time by logging into your account.
What are transcription minutes?
Transcription minutes are used to convert voice notes to text. You can transcribe voxes on-demand from your inbox or automatically if you set your Vox Channel to do so. This way you can read for speed and listen for understanding and context. Transcription minutes are counted rounding up to the nearest 15 seconds. Your balance is shown live in your account.
How are plan minutes calculated & used?
Each Plan includes a monthly allowance of vox and transcription minutes. Plan minutes used in the past month are topped back up each month to your plan allowance on the anniversary of your subscription (or your registration for the FREE plan). ie: 20 vox minutes on Free plan - 15 minutes used in the past month = 15 minutes topped up.
What if I run out of minutes on my plan?
If you run out of minutes on our Free plan, you won't be able to send or receive voice messages, or convert voice messages to text until your monthly plan minutes are reset, or you switch to a plan with unlimited minutes.
Are vox and transcription really unlimited on paid plans?
We top up paid accounts by default to 1,000 vox and transcription minutes monthly, which is enough for 99% of our customers. If you are approaching this limit and need more we will be happy to add further for genuine usage, though reserve the right not to do in cases of unfair usage (such as spam).
Can I add my team members?
Our Free and Starter plans are single user accounts. To add your team, upgrade to the Pro plan (for 2 or 3 users) or the Team plan, which comes with 6 seats included. If you want to add more than 6 team members you can buy additional seats for them. If a team member is no longer using a seat, you can deactivate them and assign the seat to a new team member, or simply delete their access altogether. You can reduce your unused seat subscriptions at any time by contacting us.
When will I be billed?
Monthly plans are billed on the 1st day of each month. Yearly plans are billed each year on the 1st day of the month in which you started the subscription. Initial pro rata payments for new seat subscriptions on your chosen plan, as well as any paid top-ups, are billed immediately. Monthly/yearly invoices are sent by email to your registered email address and itemised usage is available to be viewed/downloaded from within your account.
Can I upgrade my plan anytime?
Yes - you can upgrade your account at any time from within your account. Any unused credits under your current subscription will be applied to your new subscription.
How do I delete my account and cancel subscriptions?
Hopefully you won't want to! But we've made it really easy, and GDPR compliant, for you to do so. Just click on the red "Delete Account" button in your Account Settings. Any further payments will be stopped, and all your data deleted - no questions asked.
